History of The South-West State of Somalia:

After 12 years of continued Civil war in Somalia, which was mainly ignited to invade and conquer the Fertile Territory of the South-West population composed mainly by The Digil & Mirifle population, and other Somali Clans in a Multicultural style of Society with respect and equal opportunity for every Society.

The destructions and acts of genocides against The Digil and Mirifle population, that attracted the International Community's attention to The City of Death "Baidoa" in 1992-93 which ended in failure after the USC Militiamen fought the Peacekeepers during The Operation Restore Hope has brought to light The RRA struggle against Aidid's Militiamen, and consequently the liberation of Bay and Bakol regions.

Only on April first 2002, When the Chairman of the RRA after considering the Will of the population has declared The Establishment and Birth of the South-West State of Somalia.

Geographical and Regional boarders:

The South-West state of Somalia is composed of six regions:- Bay, Bakol, Lower Jubba, Central Jubba, Gedo, and Lower Shabelle

Boarders: North East with Banadir, Middle shabelle, and Hiran. South East with The Indian Ocean. North West with The Federal Democratic republic of Ethiopia. South West with The Republic of Kenya.

Languages: Majority May-May, and there are several different languages: Af Tunni, Af Dabarre, Af Jiddo, Bravanese, Bajuni, Af Marka, Af Geledi and others.

Culture&Tradition: The South West population has its own culture and tradition, that makes it special due to many factors such as sedentary, Agro-fishery and skilled profession.

Natural Resources: Agro-products ( Banana, Mango, Lemon, Coco-nut, Papaya, Maize, Sesami, and many other products; Fishery in its different menus; Zootecnic product such as: Camel, cattle, goat, ship and others. Mineral Resources: Natural gas, Gas, gold, Uranium, Copper and Diamonds.

Political Strategy: To liberate the remaining regions still under occupation of the Militiamen from the Central Regions of Somalia, and actively participate in the process of Peace and Reconciliation of a Federally Established Somalia in the future. To actively participate with The International Community in its fighting efforts against The World Terrorism, and make sure that The world is safe from any sort of terrorist aggressions.
