It takes more than Abdullahi Yusuf to cure Somalia

The International Community supporting Abdullahi Yusuf is like preparing a recipe for disaster, as plans so far seem porous and confusion. The U.N should be careful; and the pre announced Islamist attacks on the Abdullahi Yusuf’s illegitimate government and their supporting Ethiopian Dictator’s soldiers insistence to protecting their illegitimate survival could spark unnecessary war, that will fully nurse ill-feelings toward any future UN Peace keepers that might be needed to help Southern Somalia’s population who are not part of both the contending parties in Mogadishu and Baidoa. This is been a long awaited U.N. involvement for the southern Somalis since 1993 abandonment Somalia after the ill-fated mission.

Warlord President Abdullahi Yusuf’s Darood deceptions, lacks capability to do the dirty work enslaving Southerners by themselves, and their impotence is obvious to all. It is their wishful-thinking once again to dominate the Majority of Somali Politico’s long shot trial encouraging by Ethiopian forces. As all Darood sub-clans military capability almost meaningless today, as its known to all Somalis watching in early 1991 running away from their 30 years occupation of Southern-Somalia, and helplessly attempting several times to come back while accomplishing nothing against the sole General Aideed’s then untrained militias flattening their well-equipped armies. Even today the so-called Somali Government’s army in Baidoa who are actually a clan based militias cloaked under that name can’t stand for one day fight against any Somali group but relying on Ethiopian aggression pact with warlord Yusuf and his company.

If Darood Clans could not win then with Siad Barre’s Military power, it cannot win with Ethiopian limited occupied forces in hostile country.
The Maay Somalis say; ‘If you steal a drum, you will need a place to beat it’. Warlord President Abdullahi Yusuf and Prime-Minister Ali Ghedi must give up their warlord based government with no preconditions attached. For the Somalis "their existence and their influence is just a minor fabrication by some warlord losers spent vacationing time in Kenya while their bandit militias still operating in Somalia collecting extortion monies for them and Kenyan politicians for themselves“. Ethiopia cannot over protect them forever, as stronger Ethiopia couldn’t hold itself as one with Eritrean furious fighting for decades, never mind Somalia.

Today’s Ethiopian forces ushering by minority Darood sub-clans will not only attract soldiers within the country for the Islamist’s rhetoric anti-occupation Ethiopian-Christians but also will attract outside forces that will be threat to all-out civil war within Ethiopia’s fragile dictator regime’s territories who are ignoring to face some hard truths that will lead all East-Africa to a depressing conclusion, especially for both country’s shared recent past history, like what happen in 1984 draught famine that attracted the whole world will likely cost incalculable human life losses and sufferings that cannot be ignored by the International community once again very soon.

Warlord President Abdullahi Yusuf is not regarded by Somalis as being the mastermind of this fueling war, but by the so-called Majerteen, Marehan, and Ogaden-Ethiopian Intellectuals collaboration with Ethiopia seeking their return to power and eying to replace the Hawiye flourishing businesses in Mogadishu and occupying Southern Somalia’s agricultural lands. Ethiopia cannot possibly quash the Somali militias from Mogadishu calling themselves the ICU’s who are in fact General Aideed’s Militias wearing new type of shirt from Central Somalia with new allies from within the country as well as the middle-east and Egypt united all for the sake of Meles Zenawi’s Ethiopia.


It is also fact that an Ethiopian ability to influence events within Somalia do not exist and certainly not going to come from Darood, because the answers to past history questions when Darood were in control much in Somalia politics are missing from how’s and why it happened? They are not reporting the truths to their Master using their habitual practiced deceit, secrecy, and deception.

Somalis in the sixties, seventies and even the eighties were dormant or as one can call it a pre-mature era, when Siad Barre’s regime was in charge. The Darood dictator was ousted because of the wakeful reality materialized within Somalia sphere in the nineties was behind that revolt, unlike today, the new millennium, the Hawiye daily rebellions against the Darood and Maay-Population’s ever lingering, getting nearer to burst with anger are the sum up accumulation of 16 years prove that’s giving just about half of the picture Ethiopia sees it.

The Islamists are not in control of a country but Meles Zenawi is. The Islamists know who they are fighting but Meles soldiers don't even know whom they are supposed to be fighting and why? That will make them unsettled in Somalia even if the unholy war is over in either way. The Somalis surely will unite and become as relentless, and as many ruthless insurgency groups will likely emerge targeting both unarmed civilians and to what they see as an occupier’s tool on their soil, and that will rule out hope to success any efforts tries by the International Community to bring peace and settlement in Somalia. Zenawi has a lot to lose compare to the ICU’s in Mogadishu who can disperse into their new world of wealth and business in somewhere Somalia or Arabian Gulf or somewhere else, but Mr. Zenawi outside that Prime-Minister seat will be yelled at, or convicted of genocide in any court of law in Ethiopia and will spend for the rest of his life in exile.

The U.N. must give importance to the geopolitical fact in Somalia as the key factor to a Somalia solution, where Darood and Ethiopia should never take part of it because it is not Majertenia-Puntland with one sub-clan based region, unless some real tragedy we have in mind for the impoverished country in East Africa! As one cannot deviate from the facts in Somalia’s tribal settlements and look a way for an overall solution without inclination to any political party’s influence or motivation’s aspire their group to dominate the other ones, like those right now enticing the Ethiopian regime with promises that will never be on their domain to take one or keep one.

Those packs contending the occupation of southern Somalia along the destruction of Somali Maay Population and their minority settler’s ethnicity, religious practices, hospitality, and peaceful cultural way identified them for years is at risk, and in order to survive they need in the process of helping hand from outside. That will help also everyone in Somalia to feel secure including the warmongers own people. In Southern Somalia you used to find a healthy mixture of different background people, before Darood’s military rulers aggression in the mid seventies started exceeding their limit, as there was Italians, Indians, Pakistanis and Arabs who settled along the indigenous people and all spoke Maay language, and were forced to run away with their lives.

Today, idiotically they are trying the same thing, to chase out the Maay Populations and others who have no other place to go to and call home! Even Central or Northeastern Somalia are hostile never was welcomed to outside clans, never mind foreigners. That’s the difference of between the two Somalis and two cultures who are not known to outsiders, and that’s where they are wrong by listening the Somalis are one, with one language and one religion. The observation of the divisions by some British and Italian colonialists wrote about these facts in their early arrivals and those history books were replaced by a revised new books deliberately been written for to cover up those facts by Africans who want to enslave other Africans.

So, the demographic composition of Southern Somalia population was totally different than the one of the hostile population in Central and Southern Somalia is evidently seen the past 16 years of anarchy, without government and went into a war with Ethiopia for the 4th or 5th time in the past 42 years and all because of those traveling they do to Kenya, Ethiopia and Southern Somalia to graze their herds what make them claim the ownership of those lands and became the source of

 constant conflict between Somalian gangs in the leadership and Ethiopian gangs. Not to mention the failed effort by the U.N. in 1992 led by the Americans was never declared the existence of separate nation, even though the facts were all clear, but omitted by unarmed poor Somali Population being starved to death by looters not invaders looting the U.N. food supplies, and finally later on turn their guns against the U.N. Peacekeepers.

It is worthy rescuing on time where those victims had to work extremely hard all their lives in order to survive, peasants stay malnourished, exploited and oppressed by segments of Northern clan packs leading by ruthless clan warlords such as General Mohamed Siad Barre, General Mohamed Farah Aideed or Colonel Abdullahi Yusuf or the so-called Islamists in Southern Somalia leading by former President of Arta Djibouti. These Peasant’s cultural norms are producing food with the hardest way imaginable with no modern machineries as they always remain poor and hostage to either Darood or Hawiye illegitimate governments reserved for themselves the sole rights to represent the authority in Somalia.

What the U.N. will need is to set up a committee consisting of highly qualified experts from the international community to join the real Southern Somalia indigenous Somali Maay Population committee consisting of highly educated personnel to speed up the process selecting a temporary autonomous government with its police and military personnel securing their territories with U.N. supervision until they are ready for real federal states in Somalia as equal partners to those war mongering central and northeasterners Somalis without

Hijacking the process to a long lasting peace settlement takes place in Somalia. The Somaliland people only can appreciate these facts that their people made safe and secure from Hawiye and Darood aggression the past 16 years turmoil in Somalia and before that, which is a positive and encouraging move towards democracy and self – determination.

Finally, this is also just an attempt to reach out to all those Hawiye and Darood who took violence as means of their livelihood, to choose or try just once to look some other way of earning a livelihood, and understand the pain they are inflicting on harmless people is exactly the same as one you could suffer yourselves if stronger aggressive powers such as yourselves invades to your lands. If we ask all those victims starved to death in 1992 and those since been killed by your guns from their graves including those who were still sucking their thumps; what they think about the Islamists or Abdullahi Yusuf’s group will be in charge of the fate of this country?

They will definitely say; No to suicide, because they have their own tales of death-wish miseries under the yoke of your fascism groups who looted their food while running from General Aideed Militias, and the rest, once again looted by the USC. The Clan bandits, the warlords, and the ruthlessness never changed, but the names and titles only changed. The Islamists operated at the time in parts of the Maay territories or the chased Darood were still clinging together in some other parts- today the USC are Islamists in Mogadishu while the SSRC’s are the Federal government founded, or blessed both groups by Ethiopia! And the victims also are the same and did not change at all.

You can always call them the starving Somali people in the wrong farming businesses with no guns and ammunition but with ploughs and two huge rivers flowing into the heart of their vast agricultural lands in Southern Somalia.

No one to blame for the miserable situation of The Southern Somali Population but themselves and their surrounding fertile territory which is been always attracting the violent attention of all invaders from inside and outside Somalia with the assistance of the United Nation’s corrupt representatives in Nairobi – Kenya .
